Sowing in Pay Periods, Reaping in Seasons

Every believer knows the rhythm of sowing and reaping--a perpetual, timeless biblical principle. Consider how this applies to your paycheck. Each time you receive income, it's a small opportunity to sow. What you sow (or don't sow) during this pay period determines what you reap in the seasons to come.

Galatians 6:7 declares, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." This speaks of sowing as an act of faith and intention. We plant with the expectancy of a harvest. This doesn't necessarily mean immediately, but rather surely. There's a season for planting, a season for waiting, and a season for harvest.

What kind of harvest are you expecting in proportion to your sowing?
